Board Recognition Notice
ICONIC Board of Holistic Health — Formal Recognition

ICONIC Board of Holistic Health recognizes homeopathy education programs meeting ICONIC Board's curriculum standards — specifically those demonstrating alignment with ICONIC Board's education hour requirements — as meeting the prerequisite education requirements for the corresponding IBC holistic health credential tiers. Graduates of these programs may be eligible to apply for the relevant IBC credential — subject to meeting all additional Board requirements including professional practice hours, ethics attestation, and continuing education compliance.

Practitioners who have completed IBC-recognized professional homeopathy programs of 1,000+ hours (including 500+ theory and 500+ clinical practicum) with documented supervised client practice hours may be eligible to apply for IBC-HHP™ as the primary entry tier for this pathway. Recognition is reviewed on a rolling basis.

Important: Recognition of education pathways does not constitute automatic credentialing. All applicants must independently satisfy ICONIC Board's requirements for documented client practice hours, ethics attestation, CE compliance, and full application review. Program recognition and ICONIC Board credentialing are independent processes governed by separate bodies.
Regulatory Landscape — United States

Homeopathy is currently unlicensed at the state level across the United States, meaning practitioners are not required to hold a state license to practice as a homeopath in most jurisdictions. Arizona and Nevada have emerging regulatory frameworks under consideration. In the absence of state licensure, ICONIC Board's IBC credential serves as the professional practice standard for homeopathic practitioners, establishing clear education and practice hour requirements that are independently verifiable.

Recognition of education pathways does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the listed institutions. ICONIC Board independently evaluates programs based on published curriculum standards and documented practitioner outcomes.

Education Pathway Recognition Establishes the Knowledge Foundation — Not the Credential

Completing a listed program alone does not guarantee IBC credential eligibility. Homeopathy education spans a wide spectrum — from introductory foundations courses to rigorous multi-year clinical programs with supervised case requirements. ICONIC Board recognizes programs based on comprehensive completion at the level described for each tier. All IBC credential applicants must additionally demonstrate documented client practice hours, ethical conduct standards, and professional judgment — regardless of education program completed. Applicants who completed abbreviated or introductory formats of a listed program should apply through the standard pathway and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Homeopathy — Education Pathway Mapping

The following homeopathy programs and credentials are recognized as meeting the education prerequisites for the corresponding ICONIC Board credential tiers. Program completion must reflect the full curriculum at the level described. ICONIC Board credentials the practitioner's professional practice — not the modality itself.

Multi-Modality Practice — IBC Framework

Dual Credentials: Homeopathy & TCM/Acupuncture

A growing number of integrative practitioners are dual TCM/acupuncture and homeopathy practitioners, combining traditional Chinese medicine with classical homeopathy in an integrated clinical practice. ICONIC Board's multi-modality credentialing framework is designed to recognize practitioners who operate across disciplines. Practitioners holding dual homeopathy and TCM/acupuncture training may be eligible to apply for IBC credentials that reflect the full scope of their integrated practice — not just a single modality. This is a distinctive strength of the IBC framework: one credential that acknowledges the real complexity of how integrative practitioners work.

How to Apply Using This Pathway

Using a recognized education pathway simplifies your application — your IBC-recognized program documentation satisfies the education prerequisite for the corresponding tier.

1

Identify Your Tier

Match your completed homeopathy program or professional credential to the corresponding tier in the table above. Most practitioners who have completed 1,000+ hours of professional homeopathy training qualify at Tier II (IBC-HHP™). Click the "Apply" button for that tier — your credential level will be pre-selected in the application form.

2

Submit Your Documentation

Upload your program completion certificate from an IBC-recognized homeopathy training program and your documented client practice hours log — required at all tiers. Include your program completion documentation as the education prerequisite.

3

Meet All Remaining Requirements

Confirm you also satisfy ICONIC Board's practice hours minimum, ethics attestation, and continuing education requirements for your tier. If you hold dual credentials (e.g., homeopathy and TCM/acupuncture training), note this in your application — the Board may assess eligibility across both recognized pathways. Review is completed within 5–7 business days.
