Professional Credentialing

You're trained. You're experienced.
And the system still doesn't recognize you.

ICONIC Board credentials your whole practice — not just one modality. A 7-dimensional framework — six sequential tiers plus parallel designations — built for the breadth of what holistic practitioners actually do.

Start Your Application

Why practitioners are making the switch

Three problems every holistic practitioner knows. One credential built around all of them.

The problem

Fragmented credentials that don't talk to each other

You hold 2–4 separate certifications — one for coaching, another for holistic practice, a nutrition cert, a state license. Each is siloed. None of them cross-reference your full scope.

ICONIC Board answer

One credential. Multiple modalities. Stop paying for four certifications that don't talk to each other.

The problem

Insurance credentialing is expensive and opaque

Practitioners spend $600–$1,500 and 3–6 months per carrier figuring out insurance credentialing alone. Most holistic CPT codes sit in "tracking only" limbo.

ICONIC Board answer

Insurance pathway resources included — superbill templates, carrier guides, CAQH setup support. Clear steps, no guesswork.

The problem

Stuck between cheap credentials and expensive, narrow ones

"Without board accreditation, you don't really have any concrete way of claiming legitimacy." A $300 online course doesn't cut it. A $6,000 single-modality lock-in isn't realistic.

ICONIC Board answer

Professional board standards. Not a $300 online course. Not a $6,000 single-modality lock-in. Real credentialing infrastructure for your practice.

Add a Specialty Endorsement
Stack a specialty endorsement alongside your IBC credential application
Optional Add-On
Endorsements are available to practitioners holding IBC-HHP™ or above. An endorsement is earned on top of a base IBC credential — it is not a standalone qualification. If you're applying for IBC-HHP™, IBC-HHE™, or IBC-HHD™ you may apply for an endorsement simultaneously. Annual renewal from $59/yr.
Selecting an endorsement adds the endorsement application fee to your total. Endorsement applications are reviewed separately from your base credential — you may receive endorsement recognition in addition to your IBC credential upon approval. Learn more about endorsements →

◆ Recognized Education — Human Design
ICONIC Board formally recognizes the following education programs as qualifying prerequisites for IBC-HHA™ and IBC-HHP™ credentialing. If you hold one of these certifications, check it below — it will satisfy the training hour education requirement for the Human Design modality in your application.
These certifications satisfy the education hour requirement only. All practice standards, ethics review, and client documentation requirements still apply. Recognizing these programs is ICONIC Board acknowledging the quality of IHDS education — not endorsing or judging the curriculum.

Step 4 — Education & Credentials

Step 5 — Final Details

By submitting this application, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. The ICONIC Board reserves the right to verify credentials and may contact you for additional documentation.

Step 6 — Human Design Case Studies

Portfolio Review: 2 Anonymized Case Studies

ICONIC Board uses a structured portfolio review modelled on professional licensing boards. Submit two real, anonymized client sessions that demonstrate your HD practice. Be thorough and specific — reviewers are evaluating professional competency, not testing theoretical knowledge.

  • All client identifying information must be removed (use "Client A," age ranges, etc.)
  • Each section should be 500–1,000 words. Character counts are displayed below each field.
  • Auto-save drafts as you type — your work is preserved if you navigate away.
  • Upload supporting documents (anonymized session notes, client feedback) — optional.
Case Study 1 Draft
Client Context (anonymized) * 0 words
Describe the client without identifying information: age range, presenting concern, and the modality framework you used (e.g., Human Design Type, Authority). Example: "Client A, 35–40, came seeking clarity on career decisions. I worked with her through the lens of Projector strategy and Emotional Authority…"
Target: 500–1,000 words · Required minimum: 50 words to submit
Session Approach * 0 words
What HD tools and concepts did you apply? How did you specifically honor the client's Type, Strategy, and Authority? What was your session structure? Avoid generic descriptions — be specific about the HD framework as applied to this individual.
Target: 500–1,000 words
Outcome * 0 words
What shifted for the client during or after the session? How was progress observed or measured? Include any client feedback, behavioural changes, or follow-up results. Be honest about limitations and what was not achieved.
Target: 500–1,000 words
Scope of Practice Check * 0 words
Did you stay within the scope of Human Design practice? Were any concerns raised that required referral to a licensed professional (therapist, doctor, counsellor)? If so, how did you handle the referral? Be candid — reviewers value appropriate boundary-setting.
Target: 500–1,000 words
Self-Reflection * 0 words
What would you do differently with this client if you could revisit the session? What did this case teach you about your practice? What are your growing edges? Strong self-reflection demonstrates professional maturity.
Target: 500–1,000 words
Supporting Document (optional)
You may upload anonymized session notes or written client feedback. Accepted formats: PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), JPEG, PNG, TXT. Max 10MB. All identifying information must be removed before upload.
